Esteemed Cassatt String Quartet with celebrated pianist Ursula Oppens presents online recital at UNCW.  We invite you to join UNCW students in attending this exceptional performance. After the recital, there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end - and all via Zoom! The all-female repertoire will include works by Fanny Mendelssohn, Amy Beach, and the world preview of Victoria Bond’s Blue and Green Music.

CMW WELCOMES NEW ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
OSKAR ESPINA-RUIZ

Chamber Music Wilmington has named Oskar Espina-Ruiz its new artistic director. Espina-Ruiz begins his appointment on May 1, while retaining his current positions as clarinet artist-faculty at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and serving as artistic director of Treetops Chamber Music Society, in Stamford, CT, and Music Mountain, America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival, in Falls Village, CT.

 

The Board of Directors of Chamber Music Wilmington is delighted to announce the appointment of Oskar Espina-Ruiz who will replace Founder and Artistic Director Barbara McKenzie when she retires at the end of the current season, after 25 years of visionary leadership.
