CMW brings music enrichment into school classrooms and presents an original story created by Artistic Director, Barbara McKenzie about Franz Joseph Haydn complete with original compositions and interactive activities. Ms. McKenzie created the project for third grade elementary students. The Story of Papa Haydn, "The Boy who Sang for his Supper" is a true account of Papa Haydn's life as a boy who struggled to survive, was almost always hungry and cold and lived in a choir boy training center in Vienna without his family from a very early age until puberty. It is a story of courage and fortitude and incredible character that will be inspirational to kids of all ages.
