Rossetti Quartet
The quartet takes its name from the mid-19th century Italian poet
and
painter, Dante Gabriel Rossetti. They, like the painter,
embrace the
pre-Raphaelite ideals of returning to naturalism and
life-like color for
inspiration. Their playing exhibits a natural, unforced beauty and
elegance. After two years of working for
their return
engagement, CMS is
thrilled to be part of their east
coast tour. Their program includes music
of Beethoven, Villa Lobos, and Borodin.
