The quartet will visit high schools in W. Carteret County & New Hanover County to perform a short program and work with orchestra students.

Composer Meira Warshauer visits area middle schools to compare the creative writing process with the musician's compositional process.   Artists in Public Schools.                      

Fri, 3/7/03 | David Burgess, Guitarist  -Sponsors: Mr. and Mrs. John Vincent
This international recording artist will perform at selected elementary schools, coordinating with the Spanish language program.

A part of the Chamber Music Society’s mission is to develop new and young audiences. Since 1996 CMS has sent performing artists and ensembles into the public schools of New Hanover County providing workshops and creating thematic, music-integrated educational units. Thank you for your generous donations which help make these projects possible. We know that the fate of our nation’s cultural well-being lies in the hands of our children. They are the future.
